About Me

In my professional career, I wore quite a few hats. The one I relied on the most was working as a communications specialist during my employment time spanning many years in marketing, sales and management. 

 All the hard work helped me raise two children as a single mother who both went on to post graduate degrees and successful careers. 

 I enjoy reading, music and having as much laughter in my life as possible. I live with my husband Jim and my adorable labradoodle,  Tessie and enjoy my role as grandma immensely.  

 With a history of managing social media for the American Cancer Society of Nashville’s largest event, Making Strides for Breast Cancer, it helped me realize a dream of giving back as a survivor. 

 Writing, to me, is like taking a piece of blank canvas and using words to bring color and an image to life.    My wish is that it touches a chord in you and that, in turn, brings a light into someone else' life and so on...
