For Terri and I, on the outside we look as different as can be. On the inside though, the heart of who we are, is very similar. We both yearned for a close knit family with our own children when we grew up and the stability of knowing we were grounded in love and in education.  We both have developed very strong female friendships that have been a source of strength and joy for us both.   The unconditional regard and acceptance with love from family is wonderful but from someone you are not related to is priceless. This affirmation is based on choice.  Great friends are like an adoptive family member.

When it is all said and done though, the unconditional love between siblings is a bond that is hard to break. Thank God for that!
